A soup, bake or stew often contains several ingredients. A useful entry still does not need to be lengthy.

Start with the meal as you know it

Give the dish a recognisable name and record an approximate amount. Add only ingredients you may want to find later. For packaged foods, the label checker can flag additional points for attention.

Add context when it matters

Consider the mealtime, an unusual portion or an ingredient you are deliberately testing during reintroduction. Avoid guessing afterwards; leave unknown details empty.

Record symptoms separately

A symptom can be linked to a meal, but this does not automatically make the meal its cause. Review multiple records and take personal conclusions to a qualified healthcare professional.

Ingredient suitability depends on portion and product. Use the app as a tool, not as a product test or personal dietary advice.
